The “correct” name Bifidus regularis (the Activia) is “Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. Animalis / lactis strain DN-173 010. “He’s in the large intestine of most mammals. Vitapole Danone researchers isolated Regularis BL, Bifidobacterium (animalis) lactis DN 173-010, 1985. Bifidobacterium were looking to stay active and able to live in milk. It comes from fermented milk, NOT rats! The guy is misinformed. Maybe the rats were used for testing, but rats are used to check most of the things consumed by humans.
