Then one day one or probiotic vitamins cause excessive weight in the already well-nourished children, 7 and 9?
My friend gives her children 7 and 9 vitamin supplements (all vitamins) and probiotics for the past 2 years. She eats healthy and well, but they are overweight. I was wondering if by doing this (giving them extra supplements, because they are well fed), it can lead to being overweight. Thank you.
Unless it is the use of supplements with a lot of sugar in them, the answer is a resounding no. You get overweight by eating more you owe it to your exercise level and metabolism. vitamin supplements will not add to that. In fact, if you take supplements of vitamins you do not need because your diet is well balanced, all you need to pee on the extra vitamins. And Probiotics are not absorbed into the body. They work right into the gut (and they can be very effective!)
