Probiotics baby .. did you use?
My little girl 7 weeks suffering from bad wind pain. It is no use to lower gas that is not relieved by burping. I tried to eradicate all the common trigger foods from my diet (it is exclusively breastfed), but nothing has helped. She spends a large part of most nights, grunting and tender in his sleep. Apart from his malaise, his mom, I find it very difficult to sleep through the noise! Even knowing that she sleeps she does not help. I heard that probiotics can help, but I can not find much more information regarding infant doses, etc. I was wondering if there is a special type designed for infants or if they are ok with just a small dose of regular? And if you've used it it worked for your child? Any info appreciated:)
We have and do use them. If your breastfeeding you do not even fool with trying to get baby …. you can take some probiotics regularly. Usually, the recommendation is 4-6 a day (broken into 2-3 doses) on an empty stomach. I've used with my first daughter no wind, but for thrush and yeast diaper rash. I'll use them with my second daughter as soon as we leave the hospital ….. She was strong on antibiotics for a week now and has thrush, fungal diaper rash, diarrhea, and gas as a result. My daughter is formula fed and I just discard a broken capsule (powder) in a bottle twice a day ……… I prefer plain Acidophilus.
